Description
Each pack contains limestone pieces which, when placed in distilled white vinegar (available from all supermarkets) and the instructions followed, produce real crystals similar to those shown below.
The process of creating these crystals takes a number of days, so there is plenty of opportunity for youngsters to observe the growing process from day to day.
Crystals will be white if left in their natural state, but by adding a drop of food dye towards the end of the process (once the white vinegar has almost evaporated away), the crystals will transform into a vibrant colour.
Completely safe for children when instructions are followed.
